SCHEDULING + TURN AROUND TIMESYou are given a schedule for alterations turn around times at your first appointment and it is your obligation to schedule the appointments!
ALTRD will try to send reminders to you to get your next fitting scheduled - but the obligation is on you to schedule! Turn Around Times: ALTRD requires 14 days between each appointment to work on your services unless communicated otherwise. Bridal Alteration appointments average 4-6+ appointments, needing 2.5 months or 10 weeks before the event to avoid “rush or priority fees” >> See the next section to understand fees Formal + Suiting + Corporate Tailoring appointments average 2-4 appointments, needing 1.5 months or 6 weeks before the event to avoid “rush or priority fees”. >> See the next section to understand fees |
INVOICES + PAYMENTS + DISCOUNTS + FEESInvoices + Payments:
Invoices are sent within 24 hours of the first appointment. There is a 50% deposit due within 48 hours of receiving your invoice. If you pay the invoice in full within those 48 hours, a 10% discount is applied. You have 7 days from the end of the 48 hour deposit timeframe to pay the remaining 50%. If more services are added, a new invoice will be issued and you will then have 7 days to pay all outstanding invoices in full in order to get leave your appointment with a dress! Missed payments will accrue a 2% fee per day that the payment is late for the deposit and 5% per day for the final 50% invoice due. Fees: Priority Fees: Any appointment booked under a tight timeframe or request for a tight timeframe will be subject to a “priority fee” Bridal Alterations: Under 50 days $200 Bridal Alterations: Under 30 days $275 Bridal Alterations: Under 14 days $375 Formal + Suiting Alterations under 28 days $125 Formal + Suiting +Corporate Garment Alterations under 14 days $215 Same Day Bridal Alterations: $575.00 If you are in need of alterations to be done and your gown back within 24 hours, there is a $575.00 fee. Discounts: 10% discounts are applied to military, first responders, and service persons. 10% pay invoice in full discount Some monthly/holiday/specials run throughout the year and will be applied as they come up. |
APPOINTMENT EXPECTATIONSBridal, suiting, formal and corporate alterations and tailoring is not a one stop shop. There is a process to this, which may require several fittings. When booking your appointment, it is your obligation to make sure that you make the outlined timeframe work in order for this to be a good and flowy process.
ALTRD refuses to make a cut or stitch if there is any question or concern and can request additional appointments to make sure everything is perfect. This is for your benefit. When you arrive to your appointment, please make sure you bring shoes, shape wear, bras, or any other items needed that will be worn with garments.
